Media Advisory/Interview and Photo Opportunities: Drop is Giving Away Free Avocado Toast to Millennials

Rewards app wants millennials to have their avocado toast and eat it, too

TORONTO, July 26, 2017 /CNW/ - Drop, a rewards app that gives away free money to users for everyday spending at their favourite brands, will be serving free avocado toast on the corner of King Street West and Brant Street on Thursday, July 27 from 11:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. There is one catch: to get the free avocado toast, you have to prove you're a millennial (born between 1981 and 1997).

More than any other demographic, millennials love dining out, with 46% of food spending on eating out of the home. Millennials are often criticized for their spending habits and lifestyle choices, and instead of judging millennials for their spending habits, Drop would rather reward them by giving them what they want - avocado toast.

"We know millennials want to keep enjoying life and still be responsible with their money," said Derrick Fung, founder and CEO, Drop. "Drop is all about making loyalty for millennials relevant, and helping them feel empowered by rewarding them for their purchases - regardless of whether they're buying avocado toast, groceries, or household essentials."

**Drop founder and CEO Derrick Fung is available for interview on-site between between 3 p.m. and 5 p.m. Photo/filming opportunities are available.**
