The Government of Canada increases its support for minority-language education and second-language instruction through an important agreement with Manitoba

WINNIPEG, MB, Oct. 10, 2025 /CNW/ - Ginette Lavack, Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Indigenous Services and Member of Parliament (St. Boniface–St. Vital), will make an announcement on Tuesday about minority-language education and second-language instruction. She will make this announcement on behalf of the Honourable Steven Guilbault, Minister of Canadian Identity and Culture and Minister responsible for Official Languages.
