QUÉBEC CITY, Oct. 1, 2025 /CNW/ - On October 4, 5, and 6, Québec Premier François Legault will be welcoming his counterpart, the premier of Ontario, as well as the governors of New York, Michigan, Wisconsin, and Pennsylvania and heads of delegation from Ohio, Illinois, and Minnesota, to Québec City for the Great Lakes St. Lawrence Governors and Premiers (GSGP) Leadership Summit.
Members of the media wishing to attend this event must register by 3 p.m. on Friday, October 3, 2025 on the event registration page.

About the Great Lakes St. Lawrence Governors and Premiers Summit
The Council of Great Lakes Governors was formed in 1983, becoming the GSGP Leadership Summit in 2015. This high-level biennial conference is a strategic forum for Québec to develop and deepen its relationships with leading partners: Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Minnesota, New York, Ohio, Ontario, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin.
The GSGP Leadership Summit is active in the fields of water management, regional economic development, aquatic invasive species control, and infrastructure.
