WHAT:	Young People's Theatre (YPT) is turning 50! For five decades YPT has entertained, engaged and created magical experiences for over 5,000,000 children. In celebration of this milestone event, this multi-award-winning company is hosting a lavish gala fundraiser inspired by this year's upcoming production of The Wizard of Oz.
WHO:	Toronto's cultural movers-and-shakers. Canadian stage and TV actor Eric Peterson (Corner Gas, This is Wonderland) and his wife actress and education advocate Annie Kidder (People for Education). Performances by star YPT alumni Thom Allison (The Space Network's Killjoys, Broadway's Priscilla, Queen of the Desert), Steffi DiDomenicantonio (Canadian Idol finalist, Broadway's Spring Awakening) and popular theatre, film and cabaret performer Sharron Matthews (Canada Sings, Mean Girls).
