MEDIA ADVISORY - Ontario's Access to Justice Week offers programming focused on addressing the legal needs of Ontarians - open to legal professionals and the public Français
TORONTO, Oct. 16, 2023 /CNW/ - Members of the media are invited to attend Ontario's eighth annual Access to Justice (A2J) Week from October 23 to 27, featuring a diverse offering of virtual and some in-person programming for legal professionals, the broader justice sector and the general public, free of charge. This immersive week of educational programming will focus on this year's theme, "The 10th Anniversary of the Justice Development Goals." This week is an opportunity to come together, not only to acknowledge and celebrate the strides we have made in advancing access to justice, but to assess the work that lies ahead.

Ontario's A2J Week is hosted by TAG: The Action Group on Access to Justice in collaboration with the Law Society of Ontario and local and national justice sector partners. Beyond the wealth of knowledge that will be shared, this week is an opportunity to create meaningful commitments and action plans for the next ten years to continue challenging systemic barriers, to innovate, and to ensure a just, effective and accessible justice system for all.
