Media advisory - Ministers Joly and Solomon to announce additional support to protect and strengthen the sectors most affected by U.S. tariffs

OTTAWA, ON, May 3, 2026 /CNW/ - The Honourable Mélanie Joly, Minister of Industry and Minister responsible for Canada Economic Development for Quebec Regions, and the Honourable Evan Solomon, Minister of Artificial Intelligence and Digital Innovation and Minister responsible for the Federal Economic Development Agency for Southern Ontario, will announce additional support to protect and strengthen the sectors most affected by U.S. tariffs.

Ministers Joly and Solomon will be joined by fellow Cabinet ministers as well as Members of Parliament.
