Media Advisory - Minister Valdez to highlight new federal affordability measures in the GTA

MISSISSAUGA, ON, Jan. 29, 2026 /CNW/ - The Honourable Rechie Valdez, Minister of Women and Gender Equality and Secretary of State (Small Business and Tourism), will discuss the federal government's plan to build a stronger economy and make life more affordable for Canadians.

Minister Valdez will highlight the most recent measures announced by the Prime Minister, which include the new Canada Groceries and Essentials Benefit, as well as initiatives to tackle food insecurity. A media availability will follow.
