EDMONTON, AB, April 30, 2026 /CNW/ - The Honourable Eleanor Olszewski, Minister of Emergency Management and Community Resilience and Minister responsible for Prairies Economic Development Canada (PrairiesCan), will highlight the Government of Canada's Spring Economic Update with a focus on measures aimed at strengthening and accelerating Canada's skilled trades training and apprenticeship systems.
Skilled trades measures announced as part of the Spring Economic Update will help Albertans access the training they need to secure good jobs while ensuring Canada has the workers it needs to build a secure and sovereign future.
