Media Advisory - Minister McKnight in Delta to highlight local business support measures, protecting Canadian brewers, distilleries and wine makers in British Columbia

DELTA, BC, April 1, 2026 /CNW/ - The Honourable Jill McKnight, Minister of Veterans Affairs and Associate Minister of National Defence, on behalf of the Honourable François-Philippe Champagne, Minister of Finance and National Revenue, will outline the Government of Canada's latest suite of measures to better support local businesses and protect jobs. These measures are designed to lower taxes to help producers and everyday Canadians pay less on their tabs – particularly as Canada enters an exciting sporting and tourism season.
