Media Advisory - Minister Anandasangaree to highlight investments in the Canadian Coast Guard in Great Lakes

NIAGARA-ON-THE-LAKE, ON, June 24, 2026 /CNW/ - Members of the media are invited to join the Honourable Gary Anandasangaree, Minister of Public Safety, along with Chris Bittle, Member of Parliament for St. Catharines, to highlight new security provisions for the Canadian Coast Guard under the Strengthening Canada's Immigration System and Borders Act. They will be joined by representatives from the Canadian Coast Guard, Royal Canadian Mounted Police and the Canada Border Services Agency.
