OTTAWA, May 20 /CNW Telbec/ - With Victoria Day long weekend upon us, 6 million Canadians are still without a Pleasure Craft Operator Card, commonly referred to as a "boating licence". Law enforcement will be out in full-force cracking down on all boat operators across Canada's waterways, who unless certified, will face fines of at least $250. Summer 2010 is the first-ever boating season where ALL Canadian boat operators, regardless of age, must be certified.
