Media Advisory: Greater Waterfront Coalition to Raise Island Airport Safety Concerns

TORONTO, July 3, 2015 /CNW/ - The Greater Waterfront Coalition, an umbrella organization of more than 70 Toronto community groups concerned about the Island Airport expansion, will hold a technical briefing at City Hall on unaddressed safety issues as it publishes its new primer on the subject.

The technical briefing will be followed by remarks by Jane Fairburn, author of "Along the Shore: Rediscovering Toronto's Waterfront Heritage". Richard Peddie, NoJetsTO endorser and former President and CEO of Maple Leaf Sports and Entertainment, will also be available for interviews.
