OTTAWA, ON, June 18, 2026 /CNW/ - Her Excellency the Right Honourable Louise Arbour, Governor General and Commander-in-Chief of Canada, will take part in a ceremony hosted by Aboriginal Veterans Autochtones (AVA) to mark the 25^th anniversary of the unveiling of the National Aboriginal Veterans Monument in Ottawa, on National Indigenous Peoples Day, June 21, 2026.

The Governor General will deliver short remarks during the event.
