MEDIA ADVISORY - Governments of Canada and Prince Edward Island to partner to support tariff-impacted workers Français
GATINEAU, QC, April 23, 2026 /CNW/ - The Honourable Heath MacDonald, Minister of Agriculture and Agri-Food, and the Honourable Zack Bell, Prince Edward Island's Minister of Workforce and Advanced Learning, will be in Charlottetown to announce funding to support workers in Prince Edward Island whose jobs have been directly or indirectly impacted by global tariffs.
The announcement is being made on behalf of the Honourable Patty Hajdu, Minister of Jobs and Families and Minister responsible for the Federal Economic Development Agency for Northern Ontario.
The ministers will be accompanied by Kent MacDonald, Member of Parliament for Cardigan.
