TORONTO, May 5, 2025 /CNW/ - Veterans Affairs Canada will host a wreath-laying ceremony at the Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre Cenotaph. Christine McDowell, Associate Deputy Minister, Veterans Affairs Canada will be joined by Veterans of the Second World War, residents of Sunnybrook, Dr. Andy Smith, CEO Sunnybrook Veterans Centre, Harman Idema, Consul-General of the Netherlands, and other dignitaries.
There will be a photo op and interview opportunities with Veterans and other dignitaries following the ceremony.
