Media Advisory - Government of Canada to announce federal investments for Black entrepreneurs and Black-led businesses in Alberta Français
EDMONTON, AB, Feb. 17, 2026 /CNW/ - The Honourable Eleanor Olszewski, Minister of Emergency Management and Community Resilience and Minister responsible for Prairies Economic Development Canada (PrairiesCan), and The Honourable Rechie Valdez, Minister of Women and Gender Equality and Secretary of State (Small Business and Tourism), will announce federal funding to support Black-led businesses and entrepreneurs across Alberta.
Minister Olszewski and Minister Valdez will be joined by Dunia Nur, President & CEO of the African Canadian Civic Engagement Council and Dipo Alli, Executive Director of the Black Business Ventures Association.
