MEDIA ADVISORY - French Language Services Commissioner of Ontario to release report on investigation into services in French at ServiceOntario locations on Thursday, October 15, 2026

TORONTO, Oct. 8, 2026 /CNW/ -- The French Language Services Commissioner of Ontario, Carl Bouchard, will publicly release a report on his investigation into services in French at ServiceOntario locations on Thursday, October 15 at 11 a.m., after it is tabled with the Legislative Assembly.

Commissioner Bouchard will hold a press conference at the Queen's Park Media Studio on October 15 at 11 a.m. Journalists can participate in person or by teleconference. The press conference will also be streamed live on the Ombudsman's website – www.ombudsman.on.ca.

The report, press release and opening remarks by the Commissioner will be posted on the Ombudsman's website at 11 a.m. and shared via social media.

Accredited journalists who wish to participate in the press conference and obtain an embargoed copy of the report beforehand are asked to contact us by 1 p.m. on Wednesday, October 14.
