Media advisory - FREESTYLE SKI WORLD CUP: A FIRST EVENING COMPETITION IN CANADA IN VAL SAINT-CÔME Français
SAINT-CÔME, QC, Jan. 4, 2023 /CNW Telbec/ - Media are invited to attend the official inauguration of Alex Bilodeau's World Cup approved slope, which will become the first night-time freestyle ski competition slope in Canada and the third in the world.
The event will take place this Thursday, January 5, 2023, at the Val Saint-Côme ski resort at 5 pm.
For the occasion, representatives of Team Canada will race down the Alex Bilodeau slope. Representatives of the senior management of Lyscor Investments and Tourisme Lanaudière will also be present for this event.
Thanks to the initiatives and investments of the Société Investissements Lyscor Inc., the new owners of the ski center, in collaboration with the Val Saint-Côme Freestyle Centre of Excellence and the FIS, and Val Saint-Côme ski resort will host the next event of the Freestyle Moguls World Cup, which will be held on the evening of January 27 and 28, 2023. During this event, the world's best freestyle skiers will attempt to win the fourth of six events on the circuit.
