Media Advisory: Federated Co-operatives Limited makes historic donation to the five children's hospital foundations in western Canada

CALGARY, May 29, 2013 /CNW/ - All media is invited to attend an unprecedented announcement at the Alberta Children's Hospital Foundation. Federated Co-operatives Limited (FCL), on behalf of local Co-ops that make up the Co-operative Retailing System, knows it's important to do what's possible to make children and their families feel at home while in hospital. That's why FCL is donating $5 million - the largest gift in the history of the CRS - to the five children's hospital foundations in western Canada. This is the first time these foundations have received a single donation to share between them.
