OTTAWA, ON, June 12, 2025 /CNW/ - Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation (CMHC) will release its latest Supply Gaps Estimate (SGE) report next week on Thursday, June 19th at 10:00am ET.
This version of SGE uses a more comprehensive methodology to estimate how much new housing supply must be built over the next decade to restore affordability.
The report will provide National and Provincial estimates, as well as estimates for Canada's six largest Census Metropolitan Areas (CMAs): Vancouver, Calgary, Edmonton, Toronto, Ottawa, and Montréal.
