Media are invited to cover Dr. Bo Wiafe, an inspiring eye surgeon and regional director for Africa with Calgary's Operation Eyesight who will visit the Calgary French & International School on Monday, May 17 from 9:30 - 10:30 a.m. The school is located at 700 77 Street SW.
Dr. Wiafe will present to junior and senior high school students why unnecessary blindness is highly prevalent in Africa and throughout the developing world. He will also show them how, with the support of Canadian donors, Operation Eyesight is addressing the problem in Ghana, Kenya, Rwanda and Zambia.
