MONTREAL, Oct. 3, 2025 /CNW/ - Chantal Bibeau, Assistant Director of Prevention and Integrated Risk Management for the Montreal Fire Department (SIM), will speak to the media about the risks associated with lithium-ion batteries at the launch of a provincial mobilization campaign as part of Fire Prevention Week on Monday, October 6, 2025.
Fire department representatives from L'Ange-Gardien, Bécancour, Blainville, Boisbriand, Deux-Montagnes/Sainte-Marthe-sur-le-Lac, Joliette, Longueuil, MRC d'Autray, MRC de L'Islet, Repentigny, Saint-Charles-Borromée, Sainte-Martine, Saint-Lin-Laurentides, Saint-Donat, Sainte-Thérèse, and Terrebonne will also be present. We welcome the active collaboration of our partners: the Association des gestionnaires en sécurité civile et incendie du Québec (AGSICQ), the Association des techniciens en prévention incendie du Québec (ATPIQ), and the Fondation des pompiers du Québec pour les grands brûlés.
