- Pop-up park coming to Calgary in celebration of TD FEF's 25^th anniversary -

CALGARY, June 12, 2015 /CNW/ -

WHAT:	To mark 25 years of cultivating greener communities, TD Friends of the Environment Foundation (TD FEF) is transforming a concrete parking lot at the intersection of 6^th Avenue SW and 4^th Street SW in Calgary into an interactive pop-up park from June 15 until June 19.
	Surrounded by native grasses, trees, log seating and tables, members of the community are invited to enjoy free community programming like performances from local musicians, line dancing classes, art lessons, bicycle tuning and other outdoor activities.
	Visitors will also have the chance to help #GreenWhereYouLive by making a donation to TD FEF while at the park or at a local TD bank branch. One hundred per cent of the funds raised will directly support additional greening projects in the community. Elements of the Calgary pop-up park will also be donated to a local organization after the park closes.
