<p><location>VANCOUVER</location>, <chron>Sept. 16</chron> /CNW/ - The <location>Vancouver</location> Organizing Committee for the 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games (VANOC) is using the occasion of the 2009 Canadian Anti-Counterfeiting Network (CACN)'s Reality Tour 2.0 on <chron>Thursday, September 17</chron> in <location>Vancouver</location>, to highlight efforts to protect the Olympic and Paralympic brands.</p>
<p><person>Bill Cooper</person>, VANOC's director of commercial rights will discuss why and how VANOC protects the brands and the importance of the official licensee program to the Games.</p>
<p>The talk is part of the CACN's Reality Tour 2.0, which seeks to raise awareness and combat counterfeiting and piracy across the country.</p>
