Media Advisory - Toronto's Blurred Vision one of only 50 artists performing at The Beatles 50th Anniversary in NYC
TORONTO, Jan. 10, 2014 /CNW/ - Invited by The New York City Mayor's Office, The Times Square Alliance and The Beatles "50" Committee, Toronto/New York based Canadian rock band Blurred Vision is one of only 50 artists from around the world that will be performing at The Beatles 50th Anniversary Celebrations in NYC in February 2014. They will be among a distinct group of artists to celebrate the arrival of The Beatles in America 50 years ago, and are set to perform on the same stage where Elvis Presley performed on the Steve Allen Show in 1956. Blurred Vision will kick off their groundbreaking year with a concert in their hometown Toronto on January 23rd, before heading to New York to share the stage with American rockers The Spin Doctors at the iconic and historic Hudson Theater in Manhattan. An art exhibition by Toronto's most talked about visual artist Jessica Gorlicky will take place from 7 - 9 pm, featuring new artwork inspired by a "Blurred Vision" theme. The event is also sponsored by, Jack Daniels.
