Carnival Ball to benefit the Toronto East General Hospital Foundation
TORONTO, May 3 /CNW/ -
What: The 2010 Brazilian Carnival Ball proceeds will benefit the
Toronto East General Hospital's (TEGH) Destination for Health
Care Excellence Campaign, a $60M private sector campaign in
support of TEGH's $200M Capital Redevelopment Project. Through
the creation of a multi-storey, Patient Care Centre, the
Destination for Health Care Excellence Campaign will provide
improved delivery of high quality care with a focus on
infection control and a patient-centred environment. This
landmark facility will provide Centres of Clinical Excellence
in Thoracic Surgery, Prolonged Ventilation and Weaning, and
build on TEGH's strength as Toronto's most popular training
ground for the next generation of Family Practice
and Emergency Care physicians.
