Media Advisory - The Victor Davis Memorial Ride arrives in Cobourg
Greg Davis rides approximately 1,000 kilometres from Guelph to Quebec City to raise awareness for organ and tissue donation awareness

WHAT: Greg Davis, brother of the late Canadian Olympic swimmer Victor
Davis, begins an eleven day, 1,000 kilometre cycling journey in
memory of Victor. The ride begins in Guelph and will end in Quebec
City.
The Victor Davis Memorial Ride celebrates transplant recipients
participating at the Canadian Transplant Games in Quebec City,
August 9-14, 2010. Greg will be stopping at several hospitals
along his cycling journey to increase awareness for organ and
tissue donation. Transplant recipient athletes will join Greg at
each of his stops along the way.
Gift of Life Consent Forms and Organ and Tissue registration forms
will be available at each stop that Greg makes along the route.
