Media Advisory - The School of Public Policy to Release New Report on Debt in Ontario and Quebec - One Province in Worse Shape - Very Hard Choices Coming...
Media conference via phone and web
CALGARY, July 2, 2014 /CNW/ - Everyone knows that Ontario and Quebec are racking up debt. But why? Some politicians claim that external factors like interest rates and the international economic situation are to blame. Critics argue that policy choices are to blame for debt accumulation.
The School of Public Policy will answer those questions in a groundbreaking report to be released Thursday via conference call and webinar.
The report will also comment on which province is in more debt trouble, (much more trouble), than the other. Finally, the report will spell out in graphic detail what the policy prescriptions are to tackle debt in Ontario and Quebec, and the price that their respective taxpayers will face.
The School of Public Policy apologizes that this report and media conference will be held only in English.
