MISSISSAUGA, ON, June 14, 2018 /CNW/ - Housing is a key issue in the GTA and the City of Mississauga. Providing housing for the next generation is a challenge that needs to be solved in a partnership between residents, the building industry and municipal governments across the GTA.
The Building Industry and Land Development Association (BILD) will kick-off its 2018 Build for Growth Campaign and will put forward some ideas to improve the housing supply problem and affordability of new homes by working with the City of Mississauga to ensure that the right infrastructure is in place, so that municipal leaders, the building industry, retailers and small business owners can work together to create complete "live, work and play" communities.
When: June 18, 2018 – 1:00 p.m.
Where: Mississauga City Hall – Great Hall
Who: Speakers include:
- Darren Steedman, Chair, BILD
- Bonnie Crombie, Mayor, City of Mississauga
- Jason Bottoni, Chair, Peel Region Chapter, BILD
