GATINEAU, QC, Sept. 27, 2017 /CNW/ - Suzanne Legault, Information Commission of Canada, will be asking Parliament to table her special report Failing to Strike the Right Balance – Recommendations to Improve Bill C-58: An Act to amend the Access to Information Act and the Privacy Act and to make consequential amendments to other acts on Thursday, September 28, 2017. The Commissioner will be available for interviews following the tabling in the House of Commons (which is expected to take place around 10 a.m.).
