TORONTO, June 24, 2013 /CNW/ - Findings from a Ryerson University study charting the job market experience of older immigrant workers after being laid off by an auto-parts plant in the Greater Toronto Area will be released on Tuesday, June 25, 10:30 a.m. at the Ted Rogers School of Management.
The study, funded by the Centre for Labour Management Relations, provides new insights into Canada's precarious job market and the significant challenges older immigrant workers face with respect to income security, work quality, well-being and issues around settlement.
