Media Advisory - Special report expected to be tabled in Parliament: Interim Privacy Commissioner to share findings of investigation into hard drive loss and identify lessons learned

OTTAWA, March 24, 2014 /CNW/ - A special report from the Interim Privacy Commissioner of Canada regarding the investigation into the loss of a portable hard drive at Employment and Social Development Canada is expected to be tabled in Parliament on Tuesday, March 25, 2014 at approximately 10 a.m. ET. The report will outline the findings of the investigation and lessons learned with respect to the use of portable storage devices for organizations.

Following the tabling, the report will be available online at www.priv.gc.ca.
