Media advisory - Scientific panel on Montreal's discharge of raw sewage into the St. Lawrence River

MONTREAL, Oct. 20, 2015 /CNW Telbec/ - The scientific panel composed of Robert Hausler (ETS), Viviane Yargeau (McGill), and Daniel Cyr (INRS) held its first meeting aimed at providing an independent review of Montreal's plan to discharge raw sewage into the St. Lawrence River.

The joint report they will submit before October 30, 2015 will provide an additional source of information to help Environment Canada make an informed decision.

Due to the scale of the task and short deadline, no interviews will be given before the report is delivered.
