TORONTO, June 4, 2014 /CNW/ - The RCMP Recruiting Section in Ontario will be participating in "The 2014 Great Canadian Ride" in the Greater Toronto Area. The 2014 Great Canadian Ride is a unique cycling relay that involves High school students, grade 8 to 12, who travel from the North West Territories to Newfoundland, on a 5000 km journey across Canada. The Great Canadian Ride focuses on promoting fitness and healthier living.
The student cyclists ride an average of 150 km a day. They travel across Canada stopping at schools for presentations from special guest speakers and VIP participants. RCMP Recruiter, Cst.
