circulation coin celebrating Navy centennial

What: As 2010 marks the 100th anniversary of the Canadian Navy, the
Royal Canadian Mint has issued a new commemorative one-dollar
circulation coin featuring iconic symbols of Canada's Navy,
including a Halifax-Class frigate and images of Navy personnel
past and present.
The Mint is pleased to join the people of Vancouver in their
Canada Day celebrations at Canada Place and give them a special
opportunity to trade their change for this new one-dollar coin
celebrating the proud 100-year heritage of the Canadian Navy.
This is a one-day-only opportunity for visitors to Canada Place
to collect a unique piece of Canadian history.
When: Thursday, July 1, 2010 from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
