Media Advisory - Program encourages patients to get active with a prescription
CALGARY, April 22, 2015 /CNW/ - Calgary-area Primary Care Networks (PCNs) invite members of the media to join us on Tuesday, April 28 for the official launch of the Prescription to Get Active program.
WHAT: |
The seven Calgary and area Primary Care Networks have partnered with local recreational facilities to provide an opportunity for family physicians to prescribe physical activity to patients who would benefit from increased activity. Participating communities at this time include the City of Airdrie, City of Calgary, Town of Cochrane and Town of Sundre. |
