Dismantle Organized Crime Group Involved in Ontario Guns and Drug Smuggling

Numerous Suspects Arrested - Firearms, Drugs, Money and Assets Seized

TORONTO, March 10 /CNW/ - Media are invited to join members of the OPP-led Provincial Weapons Enforcement Unit (PWEU) in partnership with York Regional Police; Toronto Police Service; Windsor Police Service; Canada Border Services Agency and; the U.S. Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives at a News Conference tomorrow to hear the results of an investigation that targeted a significant gun smuggling and drug trafficking operation in Ontario.

One-on-one interviews will be available following the conference. Seized firearms and photos of some of the proceeds seized will be on display for viewing.

Digital stills and background information will be made available at for media agencies unable to attend once the media conference begins.
