MEDIA ADVISORY - OPSEU and OPSWA to outline negative impacts of budget on Personal Support Workers

TORONTO, May 18, 2017 /CNW/ - Warren (Smokey) Thomas, President of the Ontario Public Service Employees Union (OPSEU), will join Miranda Ferrier, President of the Ontario Personal Support Worker Association (OPSWA), at a Queen's Park news conference on Personal Support Workers Day, Friday May 19, to share their concerns over the creation of a mandatory registry for PSWs and funding training programs for PSWs outside the public college system.
