OTTAWA, July 18, 2016 /CNW/ - The Canadian Patient Safety Institute is launching a new initiative to reduce the incidence of preventable harm in health care and bring patients and providers closer together as part of the healthcare team.

Media is invited to attend the launch at The Ottawa Hospital on July 20, 2016. Speakers will highlight the importance of health care that centres on patients and families, and the need for all healthcare professionals to work together to prioritize safety and continuous improvement.
