Mothers and daughters celebrate Mother's Day together and help create the magic of a wish
HALIFAX, May 7 /CNW/ - You are invited to join us: On Sunday, May 9th at 1:30pm, Halifax World Trade & Convention Centre for the annual Mother's Day Princess Tea Party in support of The Children's Wish Foundation of Canada.
Imagine a land of enchantment, where princesses in beautiful gowns are entertained by royal musicians, dancers, wizards and more. Imagine dining with royalty on tea and cakes while surrounded by regal guests and your own little prince or princess, in a place where magic is as real as you can imagine it to be. Imagine enjoying hours of fun, and at the same time, granting the wish of a little girl living with a life threatening illness.
This year the magic comes true at our annual Princess Tea Party. Proceeds from this event and your donations will help grant 4 year old Kayleigh's wish to meet the real Disney princesses.
2010 marks the 4th anniversary of the Princess Tea Party, an event that celebrates little girls and their mothers on a very special day. The party, which attracts some 800 mothers, daughters and other family members, is once again completely sold out.
Media are invited to join the celebration.

The Children's Wish Foundation of Canada
Each year, thousands of Canadian children between the ages of 3 and 17 are diagnosed with a life-threatening illness. Since 1984, The Children's Wish Foundation of Canada has worked tirelessly to grant exceptional wishes to 15,000 children and their families.
This year, the Foundation expects to grant 1,000 new wishes as it commemorates 25 years of service across Canada. The Foundation has never refused a wish to an eligible child, and with the help of volunteers and generous donors, is able to grant nearly three wishes every day. Each wish is an individual adventure, carefully structured to meet the needs of a particular child and family.
The Foundation is a grassroots charity with chapters in every province and territory. For information on Children's Wish, log onto www.childrenswish.ca.
