MEDIA ADVISORY - LCBO workers in Windsor to picket for second time

WINDSOR, ON, Feb. 18, 2017 /CNW/ - Members of the Ontario Public Service Employees Union (OPSEU) will host another information picket Saturday as part of the union's ongoing campaign against the continuing expansion of alcohol sales to grocery stores.

Saturday, February 18, 2017

12 p.m. – 2 p.m.

Outside LCBO Store #490, 7640 Tecumseh Road East (Tecumseh Mall), Windsor

"The number of Ontario grocery stores authorized to sell alcohol is already at 210," said Local 162 president, Jennifer Van Zetten. "That's a whole lot of money going to private pockets rather than public coffers. Premier Wynne has to be stopped. She's destroying the province's single biggest generator of revenue."
