The Alberta Children's Hospital Foundation throws a party at Calaway Park for kids who raised hundreds of thousands of dollars to help sick and injured children in our community!
CALGARY, Sept. 27, 2013 /CNW/ - The Alberta Children's Hospital Foundation will celebrate kids in our community who have raised money to help sick and injured children at the Alberta Children's Hospital over the past year.
More than 300 guests from toddlers to teens are expected to attend the fun-filled day at Calaway Park to find out the incredible grand total they raised over the past year. Together they'll celebrate their success with prizes and awards for top fundraisers in three age categories, as well as a group fundraising award. Guests will find out the winner of "The Hero Award" - a heartwarming distinction granted to a Kids Helping Kids participant who exemplifies a sense of community and has inspired those around him/her to do the same.
