Media Advisory - Join Us To Help Spread Joy With The Cadbury Bicycle Factory's Joy Go Round

TORONTO, April 7, 2016 /CNW/ - This Sunday,  Torontonians are invited to spread joy and do some good by riding the Joy Go Round – a specially-created Merry Go Round powered by bicycles – in support of The Cadbury Bicycle Factory.

For decades, Cadbury has sourced cocoa from Ghana. The Cadbury Bicycle Factory helps to improve the lives of students in those farming communities by providing access to bikes, improved mobility and access to education and training on how to maintain them. . It was created to help turn a student's long walk to school into a shorter ride.  Since the Bicycle Factory first opened in 2009, they've built almost 28,000 bicycles to help students in Africa get to school every day.

Turn virtual bike parts into real bikes for students in Ghana by riding The Joy Go Round.  Eight Canadians at once will power the Joy Go Round and help donate real bikes to Ghana.

Once the Joy Go Round is full, all onboard peddle together to unlock virtual bike parts. Every 100 virtual bike parts equals one virtual bike. For every virtual bike assembled, The Cadbury Bicycle Factory will send one real bike to Ghana.

Can't join us live, visit to do your part to build bikes for Ghana!
