up with Insurance Bureau of Canada to combat impaired driving this holiday

KINGSTON, ON, Nov. 2 /CNW/ - Operation Red Nose and The Ontario Safety League, in collaboration with its provincial sponsor, Insurance Bureau of Canada, are joining forces to help keep Ontario roads safer during the holiday season.

Operation Red Nose is a free designated driver service that is run by hundreds of volunteers who provide a safe ride home to holiday revelers in their own vehicles.

At a news conference to be held on Wednesday, November 4 at 11:30am, Brian Patterson, President and General Manager of the Ontario Safety League and Dennis Prouse, Director of Federal Government Relations, IBC, will announce details of the 2009 program. Stephen J. Tanner, Chief of Police, Kingston Police Services will also be in attendance.
