Media Advisory - Homeless Veteran Outreach Announcement

VANCOUVER, Jan. 12 /CNW/ - Media are invited to attend a cheque presentation by Wounded to Veterans Affairs Canada for their "Homeless Storefront Project".

This project raises awareness of programs and services available to those veterans that may be homeless. Funds will also go towards clothing, meals, transportation and shelter vouchers.

The cheque will be presented by the president of Wounded, Wayne Johnston to the Honourable Greg Thompson, the Minister of Veterans Affairs.
