MONTRÉAL, Sept. 28, 2015 /CNW Telbec/ - The Canadian Club of Montreal is pleased to announce that Gilbert Rozon, President Founder of Just for Laughs Group, will address the business community at a luncheon on October 5.
We know Gilbert Rozon for the incredible cultural platform that has become the Just for Laughs Group. From festivals to television productions and performances to artist management, he has successfully diversified his company. What we know less about him is his involvement in the tourism industry. Mastermind behind the Regroupement des événements Majeurs Internationaux (RÉMI) and its Canadian counterpart, Festivals and Major Events Canada, he has also chaired the Comité performance de l'industrie touristique du Québec. In recognition of his vision, he has received the Prix du ministre du Tourisme 2007 and the Sir Peter Ustinov Comedy Award from the Banff World Media Festival. More recently, he was inducted into the Canadian Tourism Hall of Fame.
Drawing from his business experience, Gilbert Rozon will share his management philosophy and the importance of being involved in the community. He will also speak to young entrepreneurs about the value of having a business mentor. Lastly, he will speak about the major challenges he faces as Commissioner for the Celebration of Montréal's 375th Anniversary, a volunteer position he has held since 2012.
