Media advisory - From Kandahar to Quebec City - Last return flight to arrive
from Afghanistan

VALCARTIER GARRISON, QC, Nov. 15 /CNW Telbec/ - Media representatives are invited to meet the last group of Valcartier military personnel to return back home. About 30 troops, which were serving in Joint Task Force Afghanistan Rotation 7, are expected to arrive in Quebec City at 5:15 p.m.

Location: Jean-Lesage International Airport (Quebec City)
    Date/Time: Monday, November 16, 2009 from 4:45 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
                 (Flight scheduled at 5:15 p.m.)

This 27th flight will constitute the last of a series for Joint Task Force Afghanistan Rotation 7 contingent since September 26, 2009. The 1640 or so Valcartier-based troops will be back home and start a well deserved leave period.

Note: No interviews will be granted by the troops during their post-deployment leave. Requests for interviews will be considered after the members return to work in mid-January 2010. This approach is intended to allow the troops to fully enjoy some well-deserved rest and to spend as much time as possible with their loved ones.
