WHISTLER, BC, March 20 /CNW/ - The Vancouver Organizing Committee for the 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games (VANOC) and the International Paralympic Committee (IPC) will host a news conference with Sir Philip Craven, IPC President and John Furlong, VANOC CEO, to wrap up the 2010 Paralympic Winter Games.

This wrap-up news conference will be followed by a Vancouver 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games news conference with senior VANOC executives who will provide a comprehensive summary on a range of topic areas relating to the 2010 Winter Games. The news conference will be followed by a moderated media Q&A for media in person or via the teleconference line. In person participation requires media accreditation for the Whistler Media Center; teleconference participation is available to all media.

Media looking for closing comments on the 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games are highly encouraged to participate in the Sunday March 21st news conference as John Furlong will be unavailable in the following days due to travel plans and some senior executives have limited availability next week as they wrap up numerous files and staff numbers are highly limited post Games.
