Organizers will honour the memory of Neil Stewart , founder of the East Windsor Cogeneration Centre Golf Tournament as they present the proceeds from the event to the Children's Wish Foundation of Canada . The tournament took place last September 17, 2009 at the Pointe West Golf Club in Amherstburg.

In attendance at the presentation will be the Mills Family from Essex. 14-year old Darryn Mills was diagnosed with kidney failure at the age of 5. Last year, Darryn and his family celebrated his birthday in Disney World thanks to the Children's Wish Foundation and supporters like the East Windsor Cogeneration Centre Golf Tournament.

BACKGROUND:

Established in 1984, The Children's Wish Foundation of Canada is a national non-profit organization dedicated to fulfilling a favourite wish for children diagnosed with life-threatening illnesses.
