Media Advisory - Conference to focus on sexual violence on Canadian campuses
TORONTO, Feb. 18, 2015 /CNW/ - The Ontario Committee on Student Affairs will host a conference on sexual violence which will inform the work of the Reference Group on Sexual Violence, established by the Council of Ontario Universities (COU). The Honorable Reza Moridi, Ontario's Minister of Training, Colleges and Universities, will address participants.
Members of the media are invited to attend the keynote sessions outlined below. Please note the afternoon roundtable discussions are closed to the media.

The Ontario Committee on Student Affairs is an affiliate of the Council of Ontario Universities (COU) and reports annually on its activities through the Chair. Membership includes senior student affairs officers designated by each of the COU member institutions. The purpose of the Committee is two-fold: through the exchange of information among members, to contribute to the professional activity and development of members; and, to engage, at its own initiative or at the request of the COU, in activities such as: research in areas of service which affect students; the development of programs in such areas; and/or, to promote, in Ontario, the interests of students and student affairs.
